Orchestral Auditions
Auditions for Trinity Orchestra take place at the beginning of each academic year, with signups opening in early September. All standard orchestral instruments are welcome to audition.
Audition Requirements:
Candidates are expected to perform one piece of their own choosing with a duration of approximately 3-5 minutes.
Candidates are expected to perform an orchestral excerpt provided by the orchestra below
Candidates are expected to take a short sight-reading test which will be provided for them on the day

Auditions for the 2024/2025 Academic Year are now closed. If you would like to be added to our players directory please email players.orchsoc@csc.tcd.ie and you will be considered if the orchestra needs extra players throughout the year.
